It's official! We are Marylanders! We spent our first night in the new house last Thursday. Although we still have a LONG way to go towards unpacking, the house is slowly coming together. We love it. The boys love it. We are very, very happy. When we get a bit more settled, I'll share some pics of the new digs.
We are moving on in other ways too. Fionn made counts today, so we will be admitted for our 3rd inpatient stay. Phase 3, Round 3. We expect to be here until Thursday afternoon, just like last time. Fionn also has a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) and spinal infusion of chemo scheduled for this morning, so we are currently on the surgical wing awaiting our turn. This means that Fionn is unable to eat which is just no fun at all. Poor kid. Hopefully, they will get us in soon, and we can feed the boy as soon as he wakes from the anesthesia. Fionn tucked a few pieces of Halloween candy into his backpack for a special post-surgical treat.
Speaking of Halloween, we had a wonderful, very full day of celebrating. Like most folks, of course, we had ample opportunities for costume wearing way before the actual holiday. Spooky Train at Cabin John, Boo at the Zoo...and Fionn's Halloween parade and pizza party at his new school! Here is a picture of Fionn's preschool class at Cedar Lane. There's our Super Fionn in the right corner.
Our actual Halloween night was wonderful too. We stuffed Dex into his dinosaur costume against his will as you do with a toddler and headed to a party in our old neighborhood. It was wonderful to see some of our buddies in costume. We trick-or-treated a bit on our old street too before heading back to Kensington. We just weren't quite ready to part with our wonderful neighbors for this special night.

I'll update more from our hospital stay in a bit.
Glad we got to see you guys on Halloween and that things are going well at the new house!
