I wish I could say that the title of this post was due to our excitement over the Spring weather we've been having this past week. And, to be fair, we have been totally loving ourselves some playground time lately. But alas, Fionn also got a fever last night which prompted an ER visit. Thankfully, his counts are higher now (2600 ANC) and his chest x-ray was clear, so he was able to avoid an admission. He was given a dose of antibiotic and sent on his way. We then returned to the clinic today for a second dose of antibiotic and a checkup. He still has an elevated temperature, but we were given the green light to go on our trip to Hot Springs, VA tomorrow. It will be good to have some family time and enjoy a slower pace for a minute.
I will leave you with a picture of the boys earlier this week on the playground. Dex totally acted as Wingman on the teeter-totter so Fionn could sweep in and meet a few grade school ladies. They are becoming quite the duo, those two.

Rest, Recharge and know you are surrounded by love and prayers for lower fevers and continued higher counts! Even thought the weather is warm(-ish)... soaking in some Hot Springs sounds wonderful!! (Please pardon my ignorance if that is not on the activity list for Hot Springs, VA)
