Back to School

Girls, eat your heart out!

Due to clinic yesterday, Fionny missed his first day of preschool.  So today was his actual first day back at Bridges Public Charter School.  He was SO excited to get back to his old buddies from last year, and he also seemed psyched to make some new acquaintances.  Fionn seems especially interested in the idea that he is now one of the Big Kids in the class since his class is mixed 3s and 4s.  I'm sure he'll show all those sweet, innocent 3-year-olds the ropes, God help us all!

I know a lot of people are probably surprised that we are sending Fionn back to school, especially since it's just preschool and not yet mandatory.  As I mentioned in my last post, his doctors have been extremely encouraging about school for Fionny.  They really feel that the benefits outweigh the risks.  I definitely feel nervous about all the opportunities for germ spreading at school, but we have to give it a shot.  If Fionn is constantly getting sick, then we'll take him out.  But until then...we are school-bound.  Watch out Bridges PCS, here he comes!
