Santa, Baby

The stockings were hung by the...uh...staircase with care.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.  Oh yes, our little blue bungalow at 1405 Newton Street is ready for a special visitor.  You better believe it.  Our stockings are hung.  Our cookies are baked.  Conor is even out right now buying a fresh gallon of milk for the Big Guy.  (We heard he is particular about expiration dates).

Speaking of the Big Guy, our boys had their requisite annual rendezvous with him yesterday.  Check it out.

So you're Santa, huh?  Pleased to make your acquaintance.
As you can see, the above picture is adorable of Dex and Santa...but only so-so of Fionny.  So we did what any self-respecting parent would do.

We bought two pictures.  Yep, we are now those people.  Photoshop, anyone?

I have to admit that Santa was not actually the high point of our mall visit.  I mean, he was nice and all.  Friendly, jolly, and what-have-you.  But he was second fiddle to the guy who was responsible for this action.

To infinity...and beyond!
Yep, those are Buzz Lightyear wings.  Nailed it, Mr. Balloon Guy (who also happened to be on stilts which was pretty awesome).  Fionn was completely blissed out.

Well, that's about it for now.  We have some cooking to do in preparation for tomorrow night's dinner.  Happy holidays to you and yours!  We'll check back in after the big day in order to give a full report.
